Advanced Women's Care of the Lowcountry, PC, established in 2007, is an advanced gynecology and medical spa practice. Beyond general gynecology, the physicians specialize in hormone management, peri menopause and menopausal issues, laparoscopic surgery and urinary incontinence. Founded on "Offering Options for Today's Women", the all female physician group stays up to date on the latest treatments and surgical trends. In a consultative approach, the physicians of Advanced Women's Care work closely with all patients to customize a health & wellness path for optimal patient treatment plans.

Bluffton Gynecology Office: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Closed on all major holidays.
Available for daily blood draw from 9:00 - 3:30, breaking for lunch daily from 12:00 - 1:00.
All patients are encouraged to use the patient portal to securely message the physicians for refills and healthcare related questions.
We participate with most major insurance companies. Please consult your plan regarding our participation. All co-pays and deductibles are due at the time of service.
The first step to refilling your prescription is to call your pharmacy and request a refill request to be faxed to our office.
Some medications can be electronically transmitted to the pharmacy; other types of medications require that you pick up a written prescription from our office. Please check with your physician about your specific medication.
Prescription refills can take 5 business days to process and complete. Please allow yourself at least five days to get the medication filled. Please plan ahead if the prescription is due on a weekend or holiday, and give us enough time to prepare the prescription. Refills of medications used for "chronic" conditions require an annual visit with the physician.
Requests for same day walk in refills (requested by walking into the clinic) will not be honored. You must give the staff 5 business days to prepare the prescription. A request that is called in or faxed after 3pm will be considered a following day request.
We do not refill prescriptions after hours and on the weekends. There will be no refills after hours by any of our on-call physicians or physician assistants for any reason.
The on-call providers are to be called for emergencies only.
We do not prescribe any narcotic medication prescription over the telephone.
NARCOTICS WILL NOT BE CALLED IN AFTER HOURS BY A PHYSICIAN OR NURSE.
ANTIBIOTIC REFILLS: Only if the patient was seen and treated within last 30 days. A follow-up appointment is required.
Refills of medications used for "chronic" conditions require an annual visit with the physician. Please note, some prescriptions require a visit with a physicians prior to being dispensed sooner than anannual basis.
OTHER PHONE-IN REQUESTS
All other patients must be seen by a physician before any prescription medicine can be prescribed.
